Call for Proposals – Instructions
Thank you for your interest in submitting a proposal for the 2024 JSVR Conference.
This year we will have an English Poster Session for those who wish to give a poster presentation in English. For English Language Presentations, please register for the English Poster Session. Please follow the guidelines below to prepare and submit your proposal.
English Poster Presentations
Guidelines:
- To submit your proposal, complete the Submission Form by Friday, May 24, 2024.
- Presentations must be given in English. The information must be original and relevant to vocational rehabilitation, and must not have been previously published or presented.
- Each presenter can give ONE presentation. If you plan to include several presenters in your presentation, please provide their names.
- If your colleague(s) plan to give a series of presentation with you, you will not be the main or first presenter. JSVR accepts up to three consecutive presentations.
- If your proposal is accepted, submit your full-length manuscript (A4 x 2 pages, less than 1,600 characters) in Word (Windows) format by Wednesday, June 26, 2024.
Manuscript submission:
- The Executive Conference Committee will decide whether to accept the Presentation proposal, and will contact you by Friday, May 31, 2024.
- The manuscript (to be published in the collection of presentation papers) should be sent to JSVR’s International Committee: jsvr_intl@vocreha.org. Select 11-point or bigger font size for the manuscript.
- Please perform the following processing tasks before sending your data.
- When you create tables and figures in the manuscript using Word (Windows), please paste these as figures in (Windows extension file) or (Windows metafile) format.
- If you simply copy and paste, the links to the original figures may be created in some cases, but the draft figures may not be displayed.
- Depending on the settings, if you take a photo using a digital camera, the size of the photo file will be very large. When taking a photo with a digital camera, or when the size of the file is large, please be sure to compress the file before pasting it into the manuscript.

- Proposal submission deadline: Friday, May 24, 2024
- Notification of proposal acceptance: Friday, May 31, 2024
- Full paper manuscript and exhibition data due: Wednesday, June 26, 2024
- Early bird registration closes: Tuesday, July 23, 2024 (Starts on Friday, March 29, 2024)
